When Jared was laid off as part of a “global cost-savings initiative,” he realized that he had a unique opportunity to take his career in a wildly different direction.

While pondering his next move, Jared remembered that he loves serving his customers by finding solutions to their problems, and the satisfaction of fixing or improving things around the house.

From his first home purchase in 2002 to the five others he has owned and maintained along the way, Jared has gotten really good at doing all kinds of small to medium-sized jobs around the house. Some jobs were just too big or time consuming for him to handle, so he also experienced the relief and annoyance of hiring outside help.

The combination of a layoff, his love of customer service, and the years of home maintenance experience is how FixdUp Handyman Services came to be.

Jared’s goal is to brighten your day by making it as simple as possible for you to check those nagging jobs off of your to-do list so you can get back to doing anything else.
